About Dr Colette

Healthcare that is personal, practical and centred on the whole person.

Dr Colette Adams-Julius is a General Practitioner with more than 14 years of experience across clinical and surgical care. She holds an MBChB from Stellenbosch University and a dispensing licence.

Her special interests include the integrated care of patients living with depression and anxiety. She combines clinical insight with a deep understanding of mental health and aims to create a space where patients feel heard, respected and supported.

As a mother, Dr Colette brings personal experience and warmth to children’s health and family-centred care. Her work in women’s health is closely linked to her belief that dignity, access and compassionate communication are essential parts of every consultation.

She also supports local businesses through workplace wellness, chronic-condition management and occupational-health care, while maintaining a strong focus on continuity-based family medicine.

Through #Pads4Paps, Dr Colette has helped connect women’s healthcare, cervical-health awareness and menstrual dignity. The campaign reflects her belief that prioritising one woman’s health can create a wider circle of care for families and communities.

2019
Where the journey began

Women helping women.

#Pads4Paps began from a simple but powerful belief: women should be able to prioritise their own health while helping another woman or girl experience menstruation with dignity. Dr Colette’s leadership continues to shape the campaign’s healthcare focus, partnerships and community impact.

With heartfelt thanks

Thank you, Dr Colette.

Thank you for building #Pads4Paps, for continuing to give your own professional time, and for showing what can happen when healthcare and community action are brought together with compassion.
